Morning everyone! Sorry I've been anti social – but it's my weekend too.
Listen, we all knew the Bruins were the better team – so hopefully they can finish off the Habs sooner rather than later. Although, it would be nice to beat them in Boston. With that said, if/when the Bruins beat the Habs in the next week, one request? Be cool. No riots, please Well, let me change that. No setting fires to cars? Save that for if/when the cup comes back to Boston. KIDDING, Boston Police Department.
Milan Lucic is out for one game, Matt Hunwick will be rooting on his team from a hospital bed at Mass General – so look for more ice time for Bitz and Hnidy(how great was his goal on Saturday??). Can we except a call up or two in the future? Boychuk? Maybe Sobtoka or St. Pierre? Who knows. But the B's should have no problems tonight. Sure the Habs are going to be a little more confident since they're home and Looch is out of the line up, but it doesn't matter. The B's are the better team and they've got the momentum going into tonight's game.
I'm starting to rethink my B's in six prediction – but oh well, so they win in five. I really don't think any of us will be that broken hearted if they swept or pulled it out in five. Just win and then beat the Rangers in the second round, since we all know the Ovechkin & The Capitals are choking once again.
For those of you who aren't from Boston, today is very special. It's Marathon Monday or Patriots's Day depending on the calendar you use. Now I have a few friends running this year, but instead of dragging my ass 26.2 miles, I will be drinking heavily @ 11 am from America's Most Beloved Ball Park and hopefully – the Red Sox can sweep the Baltimore Orioles. Good luck to everyone who's running and I'll be twittering from the game!
