Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe is evil and filling my head with situations that would more than likely NEVER come true. But in today's Buzz, he talks about bringing Prince Fielder to Boston. "He makes a lot of sense for Boston. They need a big bat in the lineup,
it would combat what the Yankees have done with Mark Teixeira. They
could go to their Teixeira plan of moving [Kevin] Youkilis to third and
trading Mike Lowell. In this type of package, you can start with Clay
Buchholz and go from there."
So would you give up Buccholz for Prince? If I was able to open up the Sports Alamanac from Back to the Future II and see that '07 was a fluke and he should have stuck with football – then yes. And yes, I know it only went to 2000 – but bare with me! If he is going to be the face of the team – we have other options. Just not Bowden or Masterson, please.
Fielder went vegan after reading 'Skinny Bitch'. If he plays in Boston, I'll give up red meat.
