I was talking to another hockey blogger this week and we were talking about how he has Russian writers talk to Russian players – because they're hysterical, they get good quotes and it's just a better all around interview. I had mentioned I wish I could do that with the Czech players.
I think Krejci is a phenomenal player – he's a beast. *edit: as I'm typing this he just scored and tied the game up* But he's so quiet and reserved. Maybe it's a language thing. I dunno. Although, is it wrong that he reminds me of Hans Klopek from 'The Burbs?
And then you have Vladimir Sobotka, who looks like the type of guy who would con me into holding for him and then I'd end up in a Thai jail for trying to smuggling drugs like in Brokedown Palace . I really am an awful person. He's probably a lovely lad. *edit: Please tell me someone saw Sobotka lay out Staal?*
Sloane liked him when she met him.
