Marc Savard, who’s been one of the top goal scorer for the Bruins these last few years, was place on long term injured reserve today with a broken foot for the next 4 to 6 weeks. This blow to the Bruins comes just days after they placed Milan Lucic on LTIR with a broken finger.
What next? Seriously? No word on how Savvy broke his foot, but I’m willing to bet he was prancing around his place in a new pair of Jimmy Choo shoes . He was feeling a little saucy and sexy after his apperance in The Improper’s style issue and took a spill. Ok, that probably didn’t happen. But it is a lovely visual, isn’t? haha
Trent Whitfield, who’s been playing for the Providence Bruins, got the call to join the big team on an emergency basis.
